Article 1:Definitions
- In these terms and conditions, "services" denotes the range of services provided on the "Narita Airport Access Planner" published at

by the Copyright(C)2004 NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CORPORATION (hereafter "our company").
- In these terms and conditions "user" denotes anyone who views or uses these services.
- In these terms and conditions "contents" denotes all data, text, voice, music, other sounds, still and moving images, symbols and software and other information.
Article 2:Terms of use of the service
- Use of the service is free unless otherwise indicated.
- All costs associated with accessing the service remain the responsibility of the user. These include telecommunication costs, Internet service provider costs, and all costs associated with computer peripherals and software needed to gain access to the website.
Article 3:Conditions of use of the service
- All users of the service are deemed to have thoroughly read and agreed to these terms and conditions of service.
- It is the responsibility of the user to abide by these terms and conditions, and any other directions promulgated on the website or notified to the user (including "About the Narita Airport Access Planner") are to be considered as a part of these terms and conditions. In the event that such directions contradict or are inconsistent with these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will take precedence.
Article 4:The protection of personal information
- Use of the service may entail the user providing information for the purpose of improving the service.
- Our company undertakes to protect any personal information provided by the user in accordance with its privacy policy. Users under the age of 16 should obtain permission from a parent or guardian before providing personal information.
- The service makes use of the Internet, where security and correct communications protocols are not guaranteed. Notwithstanding the undertaking given above, users should be aware that the security of any information they transmit cannot be guaranteed, and they use the service at their own risk.
- Notwithstanding the above, our company reserves the right to retain or release any information included in the service at its own discretion in the following circumstances:

- when it is required under the process of law
- when it is necessary in order to conform with these terms
- when it is necessary in order to protect the rights or financial or physical security of the user, our company, or a third party, and
- when it is necessary in order to maintain the service.
Article 5:Copyright
All rights pertaining to copyrights regarding the services shall belong to our company, or to third parties who own such copyrights. The unauthorized publication, photocopying, reformatting, storage, modification, or transfer to another party of the content of the service by users is prohibited.
Article 6:Prohibitions
- In order for all users to enjoy access to the service, the following behaviours are prohibited:
- any behaviour which causes, or which might be expected to cause, economic or psychological damage to others
- any behaviour which brings the reputation of another into disrepute (whether true or not)
- stalking, abuse, defamation, abusive language or excessive aggression
- the posting, publication or display of pornographic or other offensive material, including text, images and symbols
- the posting, publication or display of violent images
- racist or sexist behaviour which infringes, or which might be expected to infringe, basic human rights
- behaviour which is considered to be morally questionable
- any behaviour in addition to the above which our company considers may be offensive to other users.
- Users may not engage in any illegal activity (in particular, any dealings involving: narcotics, amphetamines or other drugs whose possession, trafficking or use is subject to regulation; handguns, weapons and other items whose possession, trafficking, use or loan is subject to regulation; they may not solicit, induce, threaten or use deceptive methods to induce others to engage in such activities, or engage in forms of gambling not sanctioned by law, other mercenary activities or any other criminal activity). They may not engage in behaviour contrary to the public good, or pass information contrary to the public good to others. They may not infringe the rights or privacy of others.
- Except where specified otherwise by our company, users may not reproduce, sell, allow to be used, publish or copy any material obtained through the service in excess of the private usage allowed by copyright law. Users may not allow or cause a third party to use the contents in such a manner.
- Users may not, on their own behalf or on behalf of a third party, make use of the service for commercial or profit-making purposes without the written permission of our company, or make preparations for such use.
- Users may not hinder or limit the access of other users to the service or their use of the website.
- Users may not send or display on the Internet downloadable computer viruses or computer programs designed to modify, limit or destroy computers, communications devices, other peripherals or computer software, or any computer code containing such viruses or programs.
- In addition to the activities prohibited above, users may not perform the following activities:
- modification, alteration or erasure of the website screen or any of its contents,
- any action which hinders the proper operation of the network system or communications infrastructure used by the service, or which destroys the system or infrastructure,
- sending of spam mail or chain mail or any other activity which overloads the network and makes communication difficult or impossible,
- impersonation of other people (Authority officials and staff, people connected with our company, other users, or staff of other connected enterprises.
- making public or passing to a third party any personal information relating to another person without that person's express permission, or otherwise infringing the privacy of another person.
- posting or distributing false information.
- inputting information in other than the designated areas.
- any other activity which causes damage to the service
- any other activity considered inappropriate by our company
- Our company will determine whether or not the behaviour of a user contravenes any of the above prohibitions
Article 7:The duties and responsibilities of users
- It is the responsibility of the user to determine whether or not the contents of this service are accurate, reliable, safe, complete, useful or timely, and whether or any activity undertaken by the user making use of this service meets their purposes.
- In the event of a user being subjected to any complaint, enquiry, claim or legal action by a third party in Japan or abroad arising out of their use of this service, the user will bear the costs of responding to such complaint, enquiry, claim or legal action.
- In the event of a user passing technical information to another country or a foreign national, they must abide by the laws governing the export of technology.
Article 8:Disclaimer
- The service is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of its use.
- In order to use the service it is necessary for the user to have the appropriate hardware and software settings. our company will not accept any responsibility for operating failures or other events which result from the use of inappropriate settings. our company will also not accept any responsibility for operating failure or other events which result from the user's operating system or LAN environment, or their hardware or software configuration.
Article 9:Changes or suspensions to the system or its operation
- our company may change the user interface or system without prior notice to users.
- Our company may suspend or terminate the service in order to perform maintenance, systems recovery or because of power outages, acts of God, or other unavoidable circumstances. Where possible prior notification will be given, but in the case of an emergency this may not happen.
Article 10:Notification to users
In principle, any changes, suspensions or terminations involving the service, its operation or contents will be notified via the appropriate section of the website.
Article 11:Changes to or termination of the service
- Our company may at any time change the contents of the service, or suspend its operation either partially or fully.
Article 12:Terms and conditions
- Our company may change the general terms and conditions without prior notice to users. In this event, such changes will be promulgated once they have been made.
- When our company revises or modifies these terms and conditions, the changes will take effect from the moment they are promulgated on the website or otherwise made public by our company.
- These terms and conditions are based on Japanese law, and in the event of any dispute arising between our company and a user, the courts in the locality of our company's head office will have jurisdiction.
